Gordy Haab is a film, television and multi-media composer, who most recently composed an original score for LucasArts’ and BioWare's highly anticipated, "Star Wars: The Old Republic".

Additionally, Gordy's diverse music is featured in a variety of professional productions, ranging from recent theatrical films, “Good Luck Chuck”, Kevin Spacey's “Shrink” and Jet Li’s “War”, to LucasArt’s “Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings”, TLC’s “Little People Big World”, VH-1's "Scream Queens", "Paris Hilton's My New BFF", NBC’s “Kath and Kim” and ABC's "Greek", to name but a few.  Gordy has composed original scores for over 60 films, including Anchor Bay’s rave reviewed theatrical film, “Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon”, (Starring Robert Englund and Zelda Rubinstein - Directed By Scott Glosserman), “Dave Barry’s Guide to Guys” (Starring, John Cleese - Directed by two-time Academy Award/Golden Globe Nominee, Jeff Arch), “3 Below” (Starring Academy Award-Winner, Ernest Borgnine), the recent theatrical documentary, “At the Edge of the World”, Directed by Dan Stone, and the internet phenomenon, Ryan v.s. Dorkman II” – which was recently named one of the “top Star Wars derivative films of all time” by TIME Magazine.  Gordy is co-head of orchestral music and original scoring for “DP Music”, an exclusive music content provider for Lionsgate Pictures, and is published by Cherry Lane Music Publishing.

Gordy’s honors include: First Place; The ASCAP National Composers Award, The BMI/Warren International Film Composers Award, The ASCAP International Jazz Composers Award, The ASCAP Henry Mancini Composers Award, “Best Score”- Spotlight LA Film Festival, and “Best Score”- California Independent Film Festival. Gordy co-founded the Novo Philharmonic Orchestra for which he currently acts as Composer, and Artistic Director. Novo is 95-member rock/pop/film orchestra in Los Angeles comprised of some of the world’s most cutting-edge musicians.

Gordy and his music have been featured in interviews and articles in many of the industry’s most highly regarded publications, including among others, “Variety”, “The Hollywood Reporter”, “TIME Magazine”, “Game Spot”, “Ain’t it Cool News”, “Fangoria” and “Music 4 Games” – and “Film Music Magazine”, who recently named Gordy one of the “Top 10 Film Composers to Watch For”.
